Service Dog Training

Board & Training Break Down:

• Solid obedience foundation
• Public access training in serveral locations
• Task/Services that dog has to provide for the handler
• Restaurant tests
• AKC CGC tested
• Passing the SErvice Dog test under the ADA law requirements
• 3 Classes with the new handler over ADA laws and regulations with Service Animals and people with disabilities
• Dog will be housed at Got Your Six Dog Training Facility located at 1005 Big Horn Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65109
• 6 Classes with the trainer and handler to cover all training and tasks

Board & Play

This program will provide your dog with a safe climate controlled environment. Each dog will have its own crate. Every dog will get structured walk time and individual play time outside and inside.

Price

$25/day (no charge for pick up day, if you pick up before noon)

Boarding with Refresher Training

This program is for dogs that have already been through our training program. Please state what your dog needs help with and we will focus on those commands.

$30/day (no charge for pick up day, if you pick up before noon)

Board and Dog Daycare Program

This is where your dog is boarded with Got Your Six and goes to dog daycare throughout the day. Your dog must be fixed and play well with other dogs.

$35/day (no charge for pick up day, if you pick up before noon)

Vaccine Requirements Prior to Boarding

To ensure all dogs stay healthy at our facility, we require a list of vaccines to be updated prior to boarding and a HARD COPY UPON DROP OFF. If these vaccines are not up to date, we cannot accept your dog, no exceptions. All vaccines have to be within one year and updated at least 14 days prior to boarding.

• DHL4PP (Distemper, hepatitis, lepto 4 way, parainfluenza, parvovirus)

Board & Train - 2 Week with 6 Group Class Sessions

This program is designed for dogs that are NOT dog or human aggressive. The program provides a solid obedience foundation. This program will help the dog learn: sit, down, place with lots of distance, distractions, and duration. This program is also good for dogs who have some small behavior modifications such as leash pulling, not listening to commands, some anxiety, jumping on people, and other small issues. One of the biggest things that we work on is teaching the dog how to be calm and exist with humans and other dogs. Focus training and confidence building will also be trained on through this program.

• Correcting bad behaviors- jumping, counter surfing, nipping, and chasing
• Crate training- learning how to be behave in crate, entering crate, existing crate
• Propper leash walking
• Building confidence
• Focus training

Price

$950 payment accepted upon drop off

Note: All Board and Train dogs will be picked up and dropped off by their owners. There will be an evaluation meeting upon drop off and an 45 minute training session upon pick up.

Board & Train - 4 Week - Aggression, Intense Anxiety, Fear issues, Behavior Modification Program with 6 Group Class Sessions

This program is designed for dogs with any type of aggression such as fear, human, or dog. This program is also suited for dogs with high levels of anxiety including separation anxiety. We deal with dogs that have bitten children, adults, as well as other dogs. When a dog has these types of issues, we have to work through them before we can get to the obedience part of the program.

Training:

• Sit
• Down
• Place command
• Walking properly on leash
• Correcting aggressive behaviors
• Recall training: the start to off leash skills if your dog gets to that level
• Separation Anxiety
• Crate behavior
• Building Confidence
• Calm dog training
• Building leadership skills with your dog.
• Public Access training such as going to a dog fiendly store (i.e. Lowe's)
• Treadmill training if requested.
• Grooming exercises such as: getting use to the bath, water, blow dryer, etc
